Check out the website that Jeff Masters, co-founder of Weather Underground and Meteorologist for the Yale Climate Connections, calls an "impressive site!"
Scuba Weather is a hub for scuba divers who are looking for forecasts of the conditions at popular diving sites around the world. Sort of like an underwater weather forecast, or simply Scuba Weather. Scuba Weather covers 850 dive sites in the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico, Florida Keys, Galapagos, Palua, Fiji, Mauritius, Maldives, and the Azores. The forecasts are updated daily.
Will you be able to see 10 ft, 50 ft, or more than 100 ft? How healthy is the coral reef you want to dive? Is the water so cold you should bring your 5 mil wetsuit? Will high waves and brisk winds make the boat ride out to the dive site uncomfortable? How strong will the currents be? Scuba Weather gives you answers to these questions for every dive site, every day.
Start your adventure by hovering over the Regions in the top navigation bar. Or use the map below and click on a ScubaWeather logo. Follow it to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Mexico, or South America. Then move on to an island such as Nassau, Jamaica, Cozumel, the Galapagos, or maybe Fiji. Check out a dive site you've been to, or maybe one you would like to visit one day.
If you can't easily find your favorite dive location, use the Search feature. If it isn’t there, then use the Contact Us form and let us know all about your dive site. We will do our best to get it included.
