Islet Bay is an easy dive in no more than 10 m water depth. The dive site is in a protected nature reserve. There are two bronze cannons on the bottom that can be inspected. The cannons may have come from either the SV Restaurador , a Portugese brig that ran aground on the islet of Vila France on 2 January 1813 or from the SV Jan Berd , a British brig that ran aground on the islet of Vila France on 1 November 1853. But both vessels were transports, not warships, so it is not definitative that the cannons came from these vessels.
This Youtube video of the islet of Vila France, posted on 2 October 2021, is well worth a view.
