In September 2007, the British Broadcasting Company (BBC), with assistance from Stuart’s Cove, purchased and scuttled an old tugboat at this location. The purpose was to study colonization of artificial reefs for the British nature documentary series “Life.” Created in association with The Open University “Life” premiered on 12 October 2009 in the United Kingdom. It is not apparent if this ever made it into the documentary. More information about the documentary can be found at Life
