The Jacques Cousteau Underwater Reserve is a protected marine area that forms an area of about 400 hectares surrounding the Pigeon Islands. Cousteau brought international attention to Pigeon Island when he declared it to be one of the world's top dive area. You can find the French explorer's statue resting in these waters. This is a popular destination for snorkelers.
